It’s easy to understand why Florida is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the United States. The sun shines over 300 days each year and the weather is almost perfect the whole year round. Sometimes, however, temperatures have been known to drop into the low 30s during winter months, but it’s rare and doesn’t really detract from so many nice warm days year round.

Florida is officially known as the “Sunshine State.” Florida boasts over 600 miles of beaches and well over 10,000 miles of streams, waterways, and rivers.
